Curate your future
The Art History BA degree with a concentration in Museum and Curatorial Studies prepares students for careers as curators, gallerists, and museum and gallery professionals. The concentration provides students with practical training through a traditional humanities education with a clear career path. Students study a variety of topics, including approaches to managing and curating physical and digital collections, legal and ethical considerations, and historical and theoretical frameworks. They also gain hands-on experience through professional internships at arts or cultural institutions. Students come away from the program equipped to pursue positions at museums, galleries, auction houses, libraries, archives, and other art and cultural institutions, as well as for graduate study.
