Professional Support for Graduate Students
The School of Art provides funding, mentorship, and support to help graduate students pursue transformative learning opportunities across the region and around the world, aligning with each student’s unique research interests, creative goals, and professional aspirations. Through competitive grants and travel awards, MFA students can offset the costs associated with workshops, residencies, internships, and field research. In 2024, the School of Art provided $154,000 in awards. Faculty support students in identifying and applying for opportunities, ensuring that each experience strengthens both artistic practice and professional development.
