Envision your future
The Art BA degree with a concentration in Arts Administration prepares students to pursue an array of professional fields, with the tools to discern and exploit the latest media technologies and processes with both deep technical expertise as well as the strong executive skills necessary to lead and collaborate. The interdisciplinary BA concentration is designed to prepare students for careers on the business side of art galleries, museums, creative entrepreneurship, and film industry. Core classes provide students with a broad introduction to traditional and new concepts, art history, various art media and processes, and emerging technologies along with economics, finance, management, marketing, and advertising. In addition to requirements in both the School of Art and the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation within the Haslam College of Business, students will have electives in both units that will permit them to focus more intensively or specialize in particular areas of interest.
