This show will explore the intersections of the female identity and mental illness by presenting a collection of artworks that examine this powerful combination. The artwork in the show will range from traditional paintings to digital installations and everything in between. All will be exploring the complexities of gender identity, mental health, and oppression. Through these pieces, the artist hopes to better understand and represent how women’s experiences intersect with their mental well-being and how both are shaped by societal expectations.
