School of Art Hosts Development Council

The University of Tennessee School of Art hosted a meeting of the Development Council this Fall. The School of Art’s Development Council is a group of committed alumni and friends who serve to promote excellence in Art, Design and Art History at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Pictured left to right are: Karyn Adams, Christopher McNulty, Barbara Apking, Michael Webb, and James Hack.

The meeting included discussion about the school, a visit to the 75th Anniversary Exhibition at the Ewing Gallery where they met with the new Gallery director Julie Lohnes as well as faculty member Beauvais Lyons and others.

Hanna Seggerman, Sarah Bernstein, Danqi CaiDuring the afternoon, three MFA students made presentations, including Hanna Seggerman, Sarah Bernstein, and Danqi Cai.

Director of the School, Christopher McNulty and Director of Development, Michael Webb are grateful for the expertise and energy that the participants bring to the work of the council.
