Carmen Atkins is the graduate program coordinator and financial manager for the School of Art. She provides support to graduate students as they navigate through their program and works in tandem with the Director of Graduate Studies to manage scheduling and coordination between faculty, staff, and graduate students. Financially, she processes travel, aids in ledger reconciliation, processes accounts payable, verifies procurement cards, registers vendors and provides support to the Business Manager in financial matters.

Carmen graduated from Georgia State University in 2017 with a BFA in Studio Photography and received her MA in Communications and Media Studies from Brenau University in 2022. She is a crafter through and through and is always thinking about her next knitting or crocheting project. She also enjoys nature and wildlife photography, blogging and going on adventures with her husband.
