Gallery 1010 is currently looking to hire a new Gallery Assistant for the 2022-2023 Academic Year!

Gallery Assistants will:
– work alongside the Director Hanna Seggerman and Associate Director Landin Eldridge of Gallery 1010.
– open and close the gallery on Saturdays from 10am-1pm.
– greet and inform visitors of the exhibition and gallery space.
– maintain inventory of supplies.
– catalog the exhibition documentation on our website.
– assist with the installation and deinstallation of the gallery.
– and attend bi-weekly staff meetings.
Gallery Assistants must:
– have an enthusiasm and general knowledge of art!
– have weekend availability.
– be personable, professional, organized, and detail oriented.
– have time-management and communication skills.
– have reliable transportation to and from the gallery.
– be an undergraduate student at the University of Tennessee Knoxville that is eligible for work study.
