MFA Student Ruchi Singh: Internship with the Jewish Museum in New York
Ruchi Singh was an intern with the Jewish Museum New York during this past summer. The museum is dedicated to the enjoyment, understanding, and preservation of the artistic and cultural heritage of the Jewish people. This was an 8-week long online internship as part of the museum’s Virtual Summer Institute. Ruchi was a member of the Creative Interns team and worked on an independent creative project which was showcased at the museum at a symposium held at the end of the internship.
Ruchi Singh is a storyteller – an illustrator and a time-based artist. She is from India and is currently pursuing a Masters in Fine arts at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She enjoys illustrating children’s books, making interactive installations, animation, documentary, and capturing meditative moments through photography.
