Ashley Brown Howell is the executive director of the Tennessee State Museum in Nashville. Ashley earned a BA in art history and an MS in communication from UT and went on to receive an MBA from Boston University with a certificate in museum studies. She served previously as deputy director at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts. Howell has also worked in development at UT and in public relations at the Knoxville Museum of Art.
