From the Ewing Gallery in the Art + Architecture Building, to the UT Downtown Gallery, to Gallery 1010, an entirely student-run gallery off campus, our galleries serve as cultural resources for the School of Art, the University of Tennessee, and the Knoxville community.
Art, Everywhere
The Ewing Gallery curates and programs exhibitions of historical and contemporary art and architecture to support student instruction and research. Each spring, the gallery hosts an annual student art competition, the BFA capstone exhibition, and third-year MFA exhibitions, which showcase student creative research.
Located in the heart of downtown Knoxville, the UT Downtown Gallery presents a series of innovative solo and group exhibitions that offer students and the community an opportunity to see both international and local perspectives.
Gallery 1010 is an off-campus, student-run gallery space operated by The School of Art. New exhibitions are presented every week through the academic year.
