Alonzo Pantoja is a queer, brown artist and educator – he earned his MFA in Fiber and Installation from Minneapolis College of Art and Design; BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
A native of New Orleans, LA, Katrina Andry received an M.F.A in printmaking in 2010. She currently lives and works in New Orleans where she maintains a studio.
Stacy Kranitz was born in Kentucky and currently lives in the Appalachian Mountains of eastern Tennessee. Stacey Robinson, MFA, (Sept/Oct shows) was born in Albany, NY, and is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The influence of science fiction, Black liberation politics, and comic books fuel Stacey’s multimedia practice.
Ericka Walker is a School of Art printmaking alumna from the University of Tennessee (MFA ’10). She will receive the College of Arts and Sciences 2023 Alumni of Promise Award on September 29, 2023. Walker, who attended the University of Tennessee after completing her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, lives in Nova Scotia, Canada, where she is an Associate Professor at NSCAD University.
Lauren Cardenas is an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Her current body of work asks the viewer to question the connotations of everyday mundane objects. She is investigating her bifurcated Mexican American identity as a subject matter.
Michelle Grabner (b. 1962, Oshkosh, WI) received her MA in Art History and BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and an MFA in Art Theory and Practice from Northwestern University.
