Professors Maurice Moore and Heather Coker Hawkins will be presenting and performing their collaborative research at Performance Studies International (PSi) #30 in Fortaleza, Brazil. Their research, Joyful Rage: A Paradoxical Interplay of Sensorial Inversion, is a hybrid performance blending live and pre-recorded movement and sound to explore José Muñoz’s vision of cruising as a utopian horizon and this year’s conference theme of “crossing.” Catch the performance virtually on December 15, 2025 at 2:45 PM.
