ABOUT THE BFA

The BFA program introduces a solid foundation of technical skills and teaches the disciplines essential to professional study, while encouraging the growth of ideas and self-exploration. The undergraduate experiece balances a wide array of aesthetic, technical, and conceptual concerns within an historical context. In addition to studio work and critiques from departmental faculty, students attend visiting artist workshops and seminars, which expand their experience.
