The School of Art is located in the Art + Architecture building on Volunteer
Boulevard. Parking for loading and unloading purposes can be found around
the back of the building in the loading dock. Temporary permits must be
obtained to park in lot 23 adjacent to the building during the day. Events
and functions in the evening do not require a permit.

• Follow I-40 to Exit 386.
• Exit onto U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway) south (toward Airport and Smoky
Mtns.).
• Take the Neyland Drive exit.
• Turn left onto Neyland Drive.
• Continue straight through next two traffic lights.
• Turn left at the next light onto Lake Loudon Blvd.
• Drive to end of Lake Loudon Blvd. (you will be looking right at
the School of Art, big white building)
• Turn right onto Volunteer Blvd.
• Campus Information Center is on your right. Here you can receive
a temporary parking permit to park on the UT campus. They will instruct
you as to which lot you can park in during your visit.
• Follow I-40 to Exit 388.
• Exit onto James White Parkway (left hand exit).
• James White Parkway turns into Neyland Drive.
• Turn right at second traffic light (next to arena) onto Lake Loudon
Blvd.
• Drive to end of Lake Loudon Blvd. (you will be looking right at
the School of Art, big white building)
• Turn right onto Volunteer Blvd.
• Campus Information Center is on your right. Here you can receive
a temporary parking permit to park on the UT campus. They will instruct
you as to which lot you can park in during your visit.
• Follow U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway) north to Knoxville.
• Take Neyland Drive exit.
• Turn left onto Neyland Dr.
• Continue straight through next traffic light (a left turn would
take you to Ag. Campus).
• Turn left at the next light onto Lake Loudon Blvd.
• Drive to end of Lake Loudon Blvd. (you will be looking right at
the School of Art, big white building)
• Turn right onto Volunteer Blvd.
• Campus Information Center is on your right. Here you can receive
