Visual Resource Collection Mission Statement

Mission:

The primary mission of the Visual Resources Collection is to serve and support faculty, students, and staff of the University of Tennessee, School of Art by providing slides, digital images, visual materials, and audiovisual equipment to aid classroom teaching and educational needs, research endeavors, and administrative projects for the advancement of the visual arts. Our friendly and competent staff’s mission is to provide our faculty with the best service and a high attention to detail.   We are working hard to modernize the Visual Resource Collection by providing internet accessible options to images through MDID (Madison Digital Image Database) as well as maintaining the sizable slide collection.
