Visiting Scholars
Janalee Emmer will be teaching at the University of Tennessee for the 2009-2010 school year. Janalee Emmer received a M. A. from Brigham Young University and is a Ph.D. candidate at Pennsylvannia State University. Janalee Emmer has worked at the J.Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, CA and has recieved numerous awards and fellowships. Her interest is focused on 19th and early 20th Century Art.
Janet Lee Spurgeon will also be teaching courses this fall. Dr. Spurgeon recieved her Ph. D. from the University of Wisconson, Madison, and specializes in East Asian Art. She has been teaching Art History and East Asian studies at Colby College in Waterville, ME.
