Advising

Students in need of advising should make an appointment prior to their registration date.

Students who are pre-progression should be advised by a professor in their intended area of concentration. Information about concentrations, including professors’ office hours, can be found in the Art Office.

Post-progression students must be advised by a professor in the student’s concentration.

It is the student’s responsibility to make an advising appointment.

Students should consult the timetable and develop a plan of classes they are interested in taking prior to the advising meeting. This can be found in students’ MyUTK.
